Contribuir para o desenvolvimento sustentável da agricultura familiar da região semi-árida brasileira. Este é o objetivo do Programa de Apoio à Agricultura Familiar (PAAF). A segurança hídrica e alimentar, a geração de renda e a promoção de direitos humanos como o direito à alimentação, água de qualidade, preservação do meio ambiente, informação e comunicação, encontram-se no centro das preocupações do programa.


To contribute to the sustainable development of family agriculture in the Brazilian Semiarid Region. This is the aim of the Family Agriculture Aid Programme (FAAP). The kernel of the Programme’s concern consists in water and food security, the creation of income and the promotion of human rights such as the right to food, quality water, preservation of the environment, information and communication.
